Trained as an architect and holding an M.A. in Architectural Practice from the École Nationale d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme in Tunis, Safa Jomàa has been working on an M.A. in Museum Studies and Art Practice since 2015. Her research focuses mainly on the concerns of museum and exhibition professionals, specifically those who operate at the top creative levels (architects, designers, set designers) and attempt to perform the delicate task of reconciling the imperatives of the exhibition space and the objects placed within it. Within the framework of a professional internship that began in 2011 at the Institut National du Patrimoine (INP) in Sfax, Tunisia, she took part in a number of projects that involved restoring, preserving and promoting various museums as well as archeological and heritage sites in Tunisia. Safa Jomàa has been a research assistant in the academic community since 2014.
