Martine Dubreuil worked in curatorship and restoration for over 20 years in Switzerland at the Musée des beaux-arts Valais in Sion, at the Museum of Modern Art in Freiburg as well as for the Bernhard and Mania Hahnloser collection in Bern, and at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. She completed an M.A. in Museum Studies at the Université de Montréal in 2010 and is currently in the process of earning a Ph.D. in Art History from the same university. Her research focuses on museum collections and exhibitions, through an analysis of the ways in which the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal has promoted the work in its collection down through the years.
