Isabelle Desmeules is currently working on an M.A. in Museum Studies and Art Practice. In 2011, she completed an undergraduate diploma in feminist studies from the Université du Québec à Montréal, and in 2014, a B.A. in Heritage and Museum Studies (with a minor in administrative practices). In regard to the latter, she received an ex-aequo Citation of Excellence for her Pro-Muse, le Cabinet de la relève. Since the spring of 2014, Isabelle Desmeules has been working as a research assistant under Mélanie Boucher, on a project dealing with the tableau vivant in contemporary art. From 2013 to 2014, she was a research assistant in the Public Research and Evaluation Department of the Canadian Museum of History (CMH) in Ottawa. In addition, she has acquired work experience in the areas of exhibitions and museum education at the CMH and at the Centre d’exposition de Rouyn-Noranda.
